With the new technology, Damgaard-Jensen A/S approaches the OUTDOOR market and poster productions in medium to large production runs.
The 7 mio. DKK investment is the first of its kind in Denmark and a natural development in the production facilities of Damgaard-Jensen A/S.

Facts:
The machine, HP Turbostream 8300, prints with solvent inks, i.e. inks that are impervious to weather conditions.
Printing is in 336 to 448 DPI with CMYK colours, which is a very high quality for the OUTDOOR market where a certain viewing distance is usually the norm. Depending on requirements to quality, anything from 100 - 400 m2 per hour can be produced.
The machine has an integral drying and cutting unit, so the product is ready for use once it has passed through the 22 meter production line. Largest sheet format is 165 x 370 cm.
So far, prints can be made on film, regular paper, and wet strength paper (both white and blueback). Blueback is typically used for 333 x 236 cm billboards. |
